RouteMill's privacy policy

RouteMill endeavours continuously to ensure that your privacy is protected when using our service. RouteMill has therefore established a policy regarding how your personal data shall be handled and protected.

This Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") shall apply to RouteMill AB, corporate registration number 559136-3790 ("RouteMill") as well as users ("Users") of websites, apps and tools provided by RouteMill in order to offer a cloud-based dispatch and booking solution for taxis and other forms of transportation ("the Service") and persons ("Job Applicants") emailing job applications to RouteMill and transportation companies who are interested in using RouteMill's Service ("Leads") or already are using RouteMill's Service ("Clients").

Who is responsible for the personal data?

RouteMill is the data controller of the personal data that you as User enter into RouteMill's systems about yourself.

In the cases where Users enter personal data through a transportation company's rebranded app or by calling a transportation company, which then enters the personal data to the Service, the transportation company is the data controller and RouteMill is the data processor.

RouteMill is the data controller of the personal data that Job Applicants email to RouteMill.

RouteMill is the data controller of the personal data Leads share about themselves to RouteMill.

RouteMill is the data controller of the personal data Clients share about themselves to RouteMill.

In the cases that a Client enters personal data into the Service, the Client is the data controller of such data and RouteMill is the data processor and this is handled in the Personal Data Processing Agreement all Clients need to accept before using the Service.

What personal data does RouteMill collect from Users and why do we need the data?

Purpose
Handling taxi and other transportation bookings made by the User and managing the User's RouteMill account.

Categories of processing
Processing and storing taxi and other transportation bookings. Displaying old bookings.

Categories of personal data
Name, address, timestamped GPS coordinates, phone number and email address.

Lawful basis
Contractual performance.

How long is the data stored
Up to three years after the User's latest booking or other account activity. RouteMill reserves the right to delete or anonymize the data at an earlier point of time.

What personal data does RouteMill collect from Job Applicants and why do we need the data?

Purpose
Handling job applications for open job positions.

Storing job applications.

Categories of personal data
Name, address, phone number, email address and date of birth.

Lawful basis
Legitimate interest.

How long is the data stored
Until the vacancy has been filled.

What personal data does RouteMill collect from Leads and why do we need the data?

Purpose
Assisting potential Clients in learning more about the Service.
To perform sales, marketing and support tasks.

Categories of processing
Storing the Lead's contact information and communication.
Communicating with the Lead.

Categories of personal data
Name, address, phone number, email address and IP address.

Lawful basis
Legitimate interest.

How long is the data stored
Until the Lead becomes a Client. If the Lead doesn't become a Client the data is stored no longer than one year after the last contact the Lead made with RouteMill.

What personal data does RouteMill collect from Clients and why do we need the data?

Purpose
To enter into a contract with the Client.
Assisting the Client in learning the system.
To perform sales, marketing and support tasks.
To create receipts when the Client makes a payment.

Categories of processing
Storing the Client's contact information and communication.
Communicating with Client.
Creating receipts when the Client makes payments to RouteMill.

Categories of personal data
Name, address, phone number, email address and IP address.

Lawful basis
Contractual performance.

How long is the data stored
As long as there is a valid contract between the Client and RouteMill. If the Client stops using the Service and unsubscribes from RouteMill's emails the data is deleted.

How does RouteMill collect personal data?

RouteMill processes data that Users have entered into the system or generated while using the Service.

RouteMill processes data that Job Applicants have emailed to RouteMill.

RouteMill processes data that Leads share with RouteMill when contacting TaxCaller and personal data that RouteMill collects from public databases and websites.

RouteMill processes data that Clients share with RouteMill when contacting TaxCaller and personal data that RouteMill collects from public databases and websites.

With whom will we share your personal data?

The information that Users provide on our website or the Service will be used to enable booking of taxis or other transportation services. When booking a taxi or other transportation necessary information will be provided to the chosen transportation company in order for them to be able to carry out the booked ride.

RouteMill will not share any personally identifiable information with other parties except as described above regarding the companies using our Service to provide transportation services. RouteMill also processes anonymous data in order to improve its or third party services. Such anonymous data does not allow the identification of the Users to which it relates. RouteMill may share anonymous data with third parties.

If you choose to pay for a ride in the app RouteMill will not save any personally identifiable information regarding your card details. These payments are handled through a 3rd party card payment provider.

The data that Job Applicants send to RouteMill aren't shared with any 3rd party.

The data that Leads share with RouteMill might be shared with support and sales contractors working for RouteMill.

The data that Clients share with RouteMill might be shared with support and sales contractors working for RouteMill.

Where is your personal data processed?

RouteMill mainly uses European data center locations for European customers. In some instances data may be stored and transferred to other regions.

In the cases when personal data is stored and processed outside of EU RouteMill ensures that this is done in accordance with the law, for example, but not limited to, by using 3rd party services complying with Privacy Shield or requiring external contractors to comply with GDPR.

What are your rights regarding your personal data?

You have the right to see, correct or delete your personal data stored at RouteMill. To do this you need to send an email to privacy@gigadispatch.com and identify yourself so that RouteMill can verify that it is your personal data.

If you have shared your personal data directly to a transportation company using RouteMill's system, then it is the transportation company who is the personal data controller and RouteMill is the personal data processor. In these cases you shall contact the transportation company if you want to view, correct or delete your personal data.

RouteMill may not delete your personal data when a statutory requirement exists for storage, such as accounting rules or standards, or when other legitimate reasons exist as to why the data must be saved.

RouteMill offers data portability when the data transfer is technically possible and can be done automatically.

In the event of a dispute, the User, Job Applicant, Lead or Client may file a complaint with The Swedish Data Protection Authority.

Age limit

RouteMill's Service is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are younger than 16 years old, do not use the Service and do not provide any personal information to RouteMill. If you are aware of someone under the age of 16 using the Service, please email us at privacy@gigadispatch.com.

How do we use cookies?

RouteMill uses cookies on its websites to make the Service easier to use. A cookie is a small piece of data that a website asks your browser to store on your computer or mobile device. The cookie allows the website to "remember" your actions or preferences over time. Users can disable cookies by changing their browser settings. By visiting RouteMill's website or by signing up for RouteMill's Services you accept that RouteMill uses cookies and similar technologies to enhance the quality of the Service.

Most browsers support cookies, but users can set their browsers to decline them and can delete them whenever they like.

How do we protect your personal data?

RouteMill is committed to protecting our Users' information. We have taken technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from loss, manipulation or unauthorised access.

Your password protects your user account. You shall use a unique and strong password, limit access to your computer and browser, and log out after having used the Service. While we take data protection seriously, no security measures are completely secure, and we do not guarantee the security of user information.
